Insanity Week 4

It is time to get real and keep pushing myself in order to complete Insanity! I am so close to finishing month one and I can almost taste the sweet victory! This month really has not been that bad at all minus overworking my muscles the first two days and now my knees and ankles problems but that’s nothing when people have it worse. I was a little shocked that I didn’t have that much of a back problem since I have a dislocated disk in my lower back and thought for sure I would injure that even more with Insanity, but so far so good. Hopefully I did not just jinx myself there. Maybe Insanity has made my back stronger? It could happen like with P90X Superman-Bananas move, it’s meant to strengthen your back. Working out really has a lot of benefits from stress relief to muscle strength, to helping lower your risk of hearth disease and other illnesses. So get on it people, start the insanity workout!

Insanity Cardio Power and ResistanceBack to this 39 minute video, Cardio Power and Resistance and all I have to say blah but in a good way! It gets you moving and sweating and sweating some more!The workout is what is the hardest part it seems and when it came to the Power Jacks, I took my time. This is the video with that crazy curly-hair jumper which gets me all ‘arg’! She really gets me mad with those Power Jumps and I did not do them but I did do small jumps I forget what they are called. I think this is one of the best videos that gets you moving, hopping and jumping, and gives you a full body workout! All Insanity videos are great and I do love them just sometimes I love to hate them if that makes any sense. Anyways, Insanity, the first month at least, went by really fast and I have four more days till I fully finish month one but I feel very proud of myself for not giving up even with my bad knees!

Insanity Diet

Today I will confess that I did not have the best breakfast, just a glass of a fruit smoothy and a cookie! I didn’t have any more eggs and I was too lazy to go out and buy some organic or cage free eggs. I don’t know but organic eggs in Europe are very different and the egg yolk is much more orange then here, I know this because my grandparents have chickens which they feed corn and their vegetable scraps, plus their chicken coop is right under an apple tree so they get some apples as well. Anyways, for lunch, well I had another cup of smoothy but for dinner I had brown rice with tomatoes and green peppers. It’s a European dish, simple but delicious. I bakes some chicken wings in corn flour but I did not have any! It’s not organic meat and I’m sure there are a lot of added hormones I should be staying away from.
